Need a Verification of Enrollment during the summer? Please be aware that summer VOEs are not available on the same day. Sign up for your VOE by 3 p.m. and you can pick it up the following morning.

IN and OUT OF DISTRICT TRANSFERS

Due to increased enrollment projections, SHS will suspend accepting transfers for the 2013-2014 school year. 

Provided they are a student in good standing, no students currently on transfer will be affected.

Important summer info for the Class of 2014 SENIORS:  Remember that you must have your senior portrait taken THIS SUMMER by Prestige Portraits -(map to studio). You should receive an appointment card in the mail, or you can call the studio to schedule an appointment: 281-492-9361. You can also order your senior yearbook and your senior yearbook ad online with a credit or debit card before the first day of school to save money! Just click Locate School on the Smart Pay website

Principal Chris Juntti and Spartan athletics are featured in the Houston Chronicle. Stratford is one of only six Houston area schools to make the playoffs in every UIL sport. Congrats, Spartans!

Spartan Band members earn 15 medals at State Solo & Ensemble Contest: Gold Medal – Jackie John - flute solo; Silver Medal – Ian Sharp - alto sax solo;  Bronze Medal – Ian Sharp, Kristen Laws, Josh Lee, Josh Weyer, Stephen Martinez – sax quintet; Bronze Medal – Anna Chong, Jasmine Lee, Christy Koo, Jackie John, Rosie Wu, Wakana Yamada, Yoolim Seo, Risa Yasuda – flute choir.
 

Spartan Journalists place 4th at State Academic UIL. The Stratford UIL Journalism Team placed 4th in State this weekend in Austin! Congratulations to Sophomore Justin Todes, who placed 2nd in State in Headline Writing, and to Senior Sara Boyle, who placed 7th in State in Newswriting.  Both of these Spartan Journalists rank in the top 15 journalists all across Texas in their contests.
