This is my 24th year as an educator, and I have spent all of those years in Spring Branch ISD. After growing up in Colorado, I moved to Houston attend Rice University where I earned my B. A. in history and English. Certified in social studies, English language arts, and gifted and talented education, I spent 16 years teaching these subjects at Northbrook and Memorial High Schools. During this time I earned my M. Ed. from the University of Houston. Most recently I earned an additional certification through Rice University's REEP (Rice Education Entrepreneurship Program)> My first administrative role was Assistant Principal for Instuction and Assessment at Memorial High School. After three years in that role, I accepted my current position as Associate Principal at Stratford, and this is my fifth year as a Spartan.
