About Me

  • This is my 11th year at Stratford and my 18th (!!) year as a Student Services Counselor.  I love being a Spartan, as this is my neighborhood, too.  My daughter, Melodi, graduated from SHS in 2002.  Among my duties are individual and group crisis counseling, SAP group administrator, safe and drug free schools coordinator (along with Mrs. Spiller, Mrs. Macha and Mrs. Summers), Spartan Time coordinator (along with Mrs. Macha and Mrs. Wagner), 504/STAT coordinator, and GT identification facilitator.  I like to say that I have just about the best job in the building because I get to talk to kids 1:1 so much of the time.

Parents:  This week in Spartan Time, Nov. 17, we will be discussing post-high school plans and we have a lot of good websites.  Ask your student to see their handout!

Also beginning this week (Nov. 14) through the end of this semester, (Dec. 16), we will be accepting applications for the Gifted and Talented program (GT).  If you believe your child should be tested, please send them to the clinic to pick up an application.  See the download on the left-hand side of this webpage for more information.
