Recently the clash between our two great schools was selected as the biggest rivalry in the greater Houston area.  Channel 11 did an excellent story on our schools and painted both schools in a very positive light.  Obviously, we know which school will be victoriouos on Friday night and I am sure our crowd will be large and spirited.  On Monday, we had a great event with Craig James on our campus to visit with the community and sign his new book.  It was a wonderful show of spirit with lots of former players in the audience.  We continue to publicize a very important event that will take place next Thursday, October 8, 2009.  We will present "Shattered Dreams," which is a drunk driving accident simulation.  This accident will be staged on Fern Drive and involve SHS students in the simulation.  On that day, Fern Drive will be closed and emergency vehicles, including lifeflight will be involved.  Please spread the word in the community as we prepare this important anti-alcohol program.
