The scenario was played out in front of the school and the students involved did an amazing job. Today, we had a follow up assembly and the stories shared were very powerful. We owe it to our young people to make them aware of the incredibly high price that can be paid for drinking and driving. Tonight, we play our neighbors from Memorial in volleyball. The SHS gym will be full as this match is not only against our rival school, but the theme is "play for the cure" and pink will actually be the dominant color in the gym tonight. Much has been said and written in the past week regarding actions that took place between our two schools and both schools have had their repuatations tarnished by unfortunate behavior of students. Today, I reminded our students again that will be there to cheer for our team and encourage our Lady Spartans to play their best. I am hopeful that we will have a spirited and competitive volleyball match and that our team emerges victorious.
