PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association)
The PTSA is a local, self-governing membership association whose main purpose is to promote the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth in the home, school, community, and place of worship. PTAs traditionally work within a school community, although there are examples of non-school based PTAs working for children in other settings.
A booster club is an organization that is formed to contribute money to an associated club, sports team, or organization. The clubs are generally run and organized by the parents of the students in the supported organization in high schools.
All volunteers must register every year. To volunteer, click here to visit the SBISD volunteer page and register online.
