Stratford is a place where the combined efforts of a dedicated faculty and diverse student body create an ideal setting for students to excel. 

With a focus on empowering students to realize their full potential, we are committed to cultivating the Core Characteristics of a T-2-4 Ready Graduate in all learners, preparing them for success in college, career, and the future workforce.

We strongly encourage students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular programs, including athletics, fine arts, mentoring, and volunteer programs.

Our UIL sponsored athletic programs include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

In addition, students can earn college credit through the district's Early College (EC) program by enrolling in Houston Community College classes.

To complement Stratford High School's offerings, SBISD's Guthrie Center provides Career & Technical Education pathways for students who want to focus on careers in fields such as:

The Guthrie Center also offers an Internship program for 11th and 12th grade students to gain on-the-job experience, and its Navy JROTC program is available to students in grades 9 through 12, having won numerous awards.
